This paper presents cosmological results based on full-mission Planck observations of temperature and polarization anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation. Updated November 2015, by O. Lahav (University College London) and A.R. Liddle (University of Edinburgh). We show that these tensions cannot easily be resolved with simple modifications of the base ΛCDM cosmology. We present results based on full-mission Planck observations of temperature and polarization anisotropies of the CMB. From the Planck temperature data combined with Planck lensing, for this cosmology we find a Hubble constant, H0 = (67.8 ± 0.9) km s-1Mpc-1, a matter density parameter Ωm = 0.308 ± 0.012, and a tilted scalar spectral index with ns = 0.968 ± 0.006, consistent with the 2013 analysis. The European Space Agency's Planck satellite gathered data for over 4 years, and a series of 28 papers releasing the results and evaluating constraints on cosmological models have been recently released. Combined with the Planck temperature and lensing data, these measurements give a reionization optical depth of τ = 0.066 ± 0.016, corresponding to a reionization redshift of \hbox{$z-{\rm re}=8.8{+1.7}-{-1.4}$}. The temperature and polarization power spectra are consistent with the standard spatially-flat 6-parameter ΛCDM cosmology with a power-law spectrum of adiabatic scalar perturbations (denoted “base ΛCDM” in this paper). On this page you can find a list of Planck publications, ordered as follows. 1. In neither case do we find no evidence for new physics. XIII. The polarization of the CMB, discovered in 2002 by DASI, is now a dramatic success: in the 2015 Planck data release, there are seven observed peaks in the temperature (TT) power spectrum, six peaks in the temperature-polarization (TE) cross spectrum, and five peaks in the polarization (EE) spectrum. Cosmological parameters | severely abridged - Subm. By A Lewis, D Munshi and et al. VI. The WMAP and Planck 2015 TT spectra now appear to be in agreement over their common multipole range (Figure 46 of Planck Collaboration XI 2015). With the proposed assumptions: 1) The intended purpose of ‘lambda’ term can be understood and in future it can be relinquished. The Planck results for base ΛCDM are in good agreement with baryon acoustic oscillation data and with the JLA sample of Type Ia supernovae. Planck 2015 results: XIII. From the Planck temperature and lensing data, for this cosmology we find a Hubble constant, H0= (67.8 +/- 0.9) km/s/Mpc, a matter density parameter Omega_m = 0.308 +/- 0.012 and a scalar spectral index with n_s = 0.968 +/- 0.006. Our results are in very good agreement with the 2013 analysis of the Planck nominal-mission temperature data, but with increased precision. Planck was a space observatory operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) from 2009 to 2013, which mapped the anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) at microwave and infra-red frequencies, with high sensitivity and small angular resolution. The mission substantially improved upon observations made by the NASA Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP). We present the first results of polarization measurements with the Low Frequency Instrument at large angular scales. Cosmological parameters: Author(s): Ade, P.A.R. However, as in the 2013 analysis, the amplitude of the fluctuation spectrum is found to be higher than inferred from some analyses of rich cluster counts and weak gravitational lensing. This paper presents cosmological results based on full-mission Planck observations of temperature and polarization anisotropies of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation. The main goal of the work is to constrain the free parameters of the model utilizing the latest observational data released by Planck-2015 [19, 25].
